When you hear the word intentional what does it actually mean? To be intentional means doing something deliberately.
I see a lot of people do a lot of things and they just do them because they find themselves in a system for example a lot of people go to church, A lot of people pray, A lot of people read their Bible, most times when they engage in these activities, they don't do it intentionally that is why you see a person operating his or her phone in church. My mom said I should come to church so that's why I'm in church, left to me I would be somewhere else so since I'm in church I have to do what I like, since I was not the one that that initiated coming to the church then I I am free to do whatever I want to do. I'm not the one that initiated praying in our house, I am not the one that initiated studying the word in our house, but let me just do it because my parents would ask me, these things ought not to be so.
A lot of the time, things we do unintentionally had it been be we did it with a little intentionality or a lot of intentionality, we would have seen the required results. The world is filled with activities, people do in a lot of things without being intentional, intentionality is a great key.
As a Christian when you go to church and you are tempted to operate your phone an intentional mindset would say I left my house, I left my comfort zone to come pray, to come worship, to come and seek the face of God, so why am I not doing it? an intentional mind would also say why didn't I just stay at home if it's to operate phone I came to do here? but since I am in church I would do all that is required of me to do, people are worshiping I would also worship, the church is praying, I would also pray, they are opening scriptures I would open mine.
Now in the area of your business and intentional person would say, where do I want to be, and how do I get there? An intentional person writes out goals, write out steps that they would take to reach the height they desire.
Most times you see people just rise out from nowhere, we call it nowhere but no it was not from nowhere, these persons were doing they work behind the scene and they were doing it intentionally,because they had in mind where they want to go to so, they made sure that they will get there by being intentional, being diligent, be zealous.
you can't get to where you are supposed to be if you are not intentional with everything that concerns you and if you don't do everything that concerns you intentionally. Most times we find ourselves in activities and we just do them unintentionally. What I would say is since we find ourselves in series of unavoidable activities that just has to be done, why don't we just add an intentional mind to these activities, because whether you add intentionality or you do not add it intentionality these activities will still be there, so why don't you just add intentionality together with activities so that you can get a fruitful result?
