What words can't say will be revealed in time,
It speaks with sunshine, it speaks with rain.
It shows up the truth that can be hidden in silence,
And reveals what was gone astray, what was right within.
Time will tell who did not go,
When things got tough, who really cared.
Some may vow that they won't walk away,
But time brings to light the secrets in each man's mind.
Time will tell the cause of each and every tear,
And why some dreams disappear each year.
What looks like an end might be a new beginning,
Taking us somewhere new that we never knew.
Wait, my heart, wait the moments;
Each new chapter brings with it stories never heard.
Don't hurry the answers you urgently want,
For time gives strength to the tired and weak.
If those that laughed at your journey understand,
The individual that you had to fight for your entire life to be.
Your fights might be your glory,
Walking past the road that you made it through.
So keep on going on though the road is long,
Keep your faith, maintain a positive attitude.
Let life be, let tomorrow come,
Truth will live for time.
Once all the questions are over,
You'll grasp why some moments needed to be extended.
Life can be perplexing, but one thing is certain.
God will open the doors of eternity unto you what was always meant.
