There is a warrior in me at the very core of me,
So there is a silent strength under my skin.
Storms come and clouds cover the sky,
It murmurs quietly, “Find your way.
I have known war that no man could have witnessed,
Every scar has made me stronger, however.
Day after day, night after night,
I had the strength to endure.
This road was very rugged and this was a very long trip,
However, if there was pain, nothing could go wrong.
Then every time I fell I got up again,
With greater strength to face the pain.
The warrior in me does not run away,
It stands with courage, and is firm on its foot.
It understands that it's not the end of the world if it fails,
But just one more opportunity to patch things up.
When “you can't win” becomes a voice in the crowd. When we hear “you can't win”.
I hear another voice within my ears.
It says to me, “Believe, keep going on;”
Darkest Night shall encounter with Dawn.”
I have hope like a flame to burn,
And courage to face no shame.
I may be tired, I may be scarred,I may be tired, I may be scarred,
But I will never give up as my guard.
The warrior in me remains strong,
Ready to be lifted up if I fall.
For each challenge, each fight,
I walk, I walk, I walk toward the light.
I am not a fearsome warrior, but I am a free man.
For the mightiest warrior is in my midst.
