There's a silence story within me,
A tale deep within me,
With an adventure with a lot of moments
I can't really explain it.
I have smiled even difficult times,
I've passed lonely days,
I have taken to heart a lot of questions
Thinking that I was fine.
My silence is not weakness,
I don't have to be silent, I could speak.
There are times when my silence story is the language
When we have no other option, we make our choice of life.
There is what I didn't say,
There's unspoken feelings within me,
There are dreams I would almost give up on,
And memories in my mind.
But behind my silent voice,
There's courage within me.
All my fights have made me wiser,
Each and every failure of my story was a step forward.
Not every battle that I have ever fought has been a thing of joy.
Need an audience to view;
There are some wins I make quietly,
In the presence of no one else besides me.
When you see me when I am still,
Don't assume that I'm fine.
There's a tale in my quiet,
There are emotions within me that are concealed.
Some day, I'll tell my tale,
Not with anger, or fear, or pain;
But with thanks and courage,
To gain the strength I wanted.
My silence has a story,
A story yet to be written,
And all quiet chapter in my story,
Every experience has shaped me into the person
I am becoming.
