Birds: The Wings of Freedom
Birds are creatures of the morning light, Dancing through the sky, so beautiful and bright. With tiny wings that carry them so high, They paint their dreams across the open sky.
From little sparrows resting on a tree, To mighty eagles flying wild and free, Each bird has a story it wants to tell, A song of hope that echoes through the dell.
They wake the world with melodies so sweet, Singing their songs on rooftops and streets. Their voices rise as the sun appears, Bringing joy and chasing away our fears.
Some wear feathers as bright as gold, While others wear colours gentle and bold. Some travel far when the seasons change, Crossing rivers, forests, and mountain ranges.
Oh, how I wish I could fly like a bird, Beyond the noise, beyond every word. To touch the clouds and dance with the breeze, And find my peace among the trees.
Birds know the beauty of letting go, Following the winds wherever they blow. They do not carry the weight of the ground, They spread their wings and freedom is found.
But life is not always a beautiful flight, Some birds struggle through storms in the night. They search for shelter, for food, and rest, Yet still they rise, giving their very best.
Their nests are homes built with love and care, A little safe place where young ones share. They feed their children and teach them to fly, Preparing their wings for the open sky.
So let us protect these wonders above, For birds bring beauty, peace, and love. Let trees stand tall and clean waters flow, Giving them places where life can grow.
And when I look up at the sky so blue, I see their courage in all that they do. For birds remind us, wherever we are, That dreams have wings and
hope can travel far.
