SAME ROOTS,NEW LEVELS
poem

SAME ROOTS,NEW LEVELS

We began from the same earth,

Under our feet are our dreams,

Learning to walk on the dusty roads,

Restless hearts and hopeful eyes chasing for tomorrow.

We had little, but we had laughter,

Small beginnings, but dreams were wide,

In all the struggles, in all the failures,

We were companions to one another all the way.

But the seasons have turned around,

and some of us are standing higher,

New doors are opening before us,

New heights are calling out: "Come!New heights are calling out: Come!

But do not forget the roots!

Then the storms were strong and that held us,

The Savorers who believed in us

Yet when success was still so distant.

New faces may come with new levels,

New places, new opportunities,

But "growth" must not cancel out the sense of gratitude,

There's no such thing as too much success, and no such thing as forgetting where you came from.

We may not be on the same path these days,

Our paths might go in various directions,

But the memories remain within us,

As lessons that we remember with our heart.

So fly up higher, dream more,

Climb up every mountain that you can see,

But take your root with you where you go,

These are all a part of your narrative.

The same origins but new levels.

There are different heights but one beginning,

Wherever life takes us,

May we never forget where we started.
