When the going gets tough and the road gets long,
When all your steps are shaky and off-base,
Never give in, never lose your way,
Hold on to faith through every day.
If storms are imminent and grey skies are on the horizon,
When dreams are far away,
But remember challenges are temporary,
Faith can be strengthened in all the trials.
Where plans are postponed, and the doors are closed,
Believe that God's plan is still working.
You might not be able to grasp His strategy,
Yet maintain your faith as you can.
If fear comes and hope is diminished,
Let your faith help you stand tall.
You are stronger than you may know,
And all obstacles make you stronger.
You may be challenged at every point in life,
But never leave your faith behind.
Dare to pray, Walk with grace,
Follow God's timing and his lead.
So when the journey becomes tough,
And you feel you have had enough,
Try not to focus on today's suffering,
After every storm, calm will return.
Don't give up, don't quit,
Even if you feel like you are in bed for a long time.
Faith is strong when life gets rough,
When you are facing a difficult time, strengthen your faith.
