Many a times we might have been faced with rejections that can make us to reconsider our approach to some things.
It can be a partner, a job, something we hoped on and eventually ended up with an apology mail.
Early this morning, I woke up to an email from Google about the nature of the website and it was a timely one,
After the review of the website, we were faced with a rejection email and the reason was our website has low value content, and this has led us to review somethings.
We're calling on Writers to aid us in this quest, we need authentic and well structured articles and with this, we're going to be more strict with post approvals this days so we can be able to offer something unique, some previous contents that might have been uploaded on the website might be taken down and some will have to be reviewed, henceforth you're asked to communicate your thoughts in full. No breaking of articles into parts, such that a user or visitors can understand the full context of your write up without having to look for another part, the major issue we have is AI generated contents and this is the major obstacle we're facing, a lot of posts on the website are AI generated, initially we thought it wouldn't do any harm, but it's now a major contributor to some of the issues, and while we're not entirely dismissing the use of AI, we'd implore that we reduce it to the barest minimum, we can use it to get our points while we develop the contents ourselves, so going forward, posts with elements of AI will be under much scrutiny before it is approved and if there is excess usage of AI, the post will be declined. Also contents with high percentage of plagiarism will also not be permitted.
It's important to take all of this things into consideration. One thing is we're open to your suggestions and your ideas, we're open to opinions. And we want to do better and serve you all better.
Writers Arena is committed to bringing out the authenticity in you, you can sit, think and bring a write up, or report what's happening in your location, or talk about things that are trending or something unique, all you have to ensure is it's originality.
Furthermore, while we're growing, we'll be considering the earnings, the more active users we have will determine the earnings such that all individuals will be able to withdraw at least once a month before their account expiry.
Now back to the scenario I gave in the first instance, rejections might come in one way or the other, but the important thing is knowing what you want and knowing your worth, there are some rejections you keep going back till you get accepted, while there are some you know you don't need and it's a blessing in disguise, so I'd implore you all our beloved members to always go for what you want, delays and denials aren't automatic NOs they're just an obstacle that needs to be defeated.
So let's all work together and make this platform a success. Give us genuine contents, follow all the rules and guidelines, be authentic and stay real.
That way the platform thrives and receives important recognition and in turn we all benefit.
