YOUR BACKGROUND DOES NOT HAVE TO DEFINE YOUR FUTURE
There are moments in life when we look at where we come from and begin to wonder if that is where our story will end. We look at our families, our struggles, the sacrifices we have made, the opportunities we never had, and we begin to lose hope.
Some of us come from families that struggled to survive. Some could not go to school because there was not enough money. Some had dreams they had to put aside because life demanded sacrifices from them. Some have experienced things that made them question whether they even have a future to look forward to.
But today, I want to remind you of something: your background does not have to define your future.
Where you started is not necessarily where you will end.
Maybe today you are at Step A. Maybe life has placed you in a position you never wanted to be in. But that does not mean you have to remain there forever. There is a Step B. There is a Step C. There are still many steps ahead of you.
Your background may explain where you came from, but it does not have the power to decide where you are going.
I know this is not always easy to believe. When you have struggled for so long, hope can become difficult. When you have watched your family sacrifice so much, you may begin to think that your dreams are too far away. When opportunities keep passing you by, you may begin to wonder if there is really anything waiting for you ahead.
But please, do not give up on the future simply because your present is difficult.
There is still light at the end of the tunnel.
The struggles you are facing today can become part of the story you will tell tomorrow. The sacrifices you have made can become reminders of how far you have come. The pain you experienced can teach you lessons that success alone could never teach you.
Your background is not supposed to cage you. It is supposed to teach you.
And when you finally get to where you have always dreamed of being, do not forget where you started.
Do not forget the days when things were difficult. Do not forget the people who sacrificed for you. Do not forget the struggles that shaped you. Do not forget the pain that taught you strength.
Because success means more when you remember the journey that brought you there.
So, if you are standing at Step A today, don't convince yourself that Step A is your final destination.
Keep moving. Keep learning. Keep trying. Keep believing.
Your beginning may be difficult, but your beginning is not your ending.
Your background is a part of your story, but it does not have to be
the final chapter. It is a starting point for something better.it just needs dedication, hard work , commitment, and God to make it happen.
We have everything to make the sky our starting point.
