ALL SHINE RAINBOW
After the rain stopped fighting the sky,
I saw you —
colors learning how to be brave again.
You didn’t arrive with thunder.
You came soft, like a promise
God whispered to the clouds and kept.
Red for the blood of battles I survived.
Orange for the fire that didn’t burn me.
Yellow for the mornings I chose to smile anyway.
Green for the healing growing in quiet places.
Blue for the tears that watered my faith.
Indigo for the mysteries I don’t need to understand.
Violet for the royalty I forgot I carried.
All shine rainbow.
Not because the storm was small,
but because the light decided to stay.
You teach me that broken pieces
can still bend light into beauty.
That after crying, the sky knows how to dress up.
That God doesn’t waste rain.
People will ask, “Why are you glowing?”
And I’ll say, “Because I waited.
Because I believed the gray would end.
Because I let the Son shine through me.”
All shine rainbow across my scars.
Paint over the places I thought were ruined.
Remind me that joy is a covenant,
and every color has a name in heaven.
So I’ll walk under you, head up.
No more hiding in the storm.
If darkness comes again, I won’t fear.
I’ve seen what happens
when light and rain agree.
We become a miracle.
We become an *All Shine Rainbow*.
