When the way is dark and lonely,When the road is dark and lonely,
In fact your strength starts to diminish,
When all the dreams that you had once believed in...When all the dreams that you once had believed in...
Seems to slowly lose its shade,
Keep in mind that God is still with you,
Although you can't see;
He is going through the quietness,
Preparing what will be sure to happen.
Your chapter could be filled with tears,
Your pages marked with pain,
But each time you've been through a storm, you have come out stronger on the other side.
Was never lived in vain.
The tears you shed in private,
Dare will be remembered by the Lord,
And the wars you had waged
Will one day bring reward.
Never put the book down with a dejected heart,
Never quit today;
The Author is aware of the conclusion,
Though you cannot see the way.
What was supposed to be a break in the chapter actually is a broken chapter.
May become your greatest part,
Even your worst wounds can be turned right over and God can heal them.
Strength to come from within.
Keep walking, keep believing,
Trust in your faith, and have it be your compass.
When you are unable to understand His purpose,
Wait for the One who walks with you.
Your story isn't over,
It's not the end of your journey.
Chapters still to be written,
And God is writing to you.
Wait and see through the waiting,
Let your hope remain alive.
The God who began your story
Will be honest and make the effort to finish it on time
