Whispers of the Sky
Oh, wondrous sky, so vast and free,
A canvas painted for all to see,
In hues of blue and shades of gray,
You greet the dawn, you bid the day.
At sunrise, you blush in golden light,
With whispers of warmth, you chase the night,
Clouds like cotton candy float on by,
As dreams take wing in the open sky.
In midday’s glow, you wear a crown,
Of sunlit rays that dance and bounce around,
Children laugh, their kites take flight,
While birds serenade with pure delight.
As afternoon wanes, you shift your dress,
To shades of orange and soft caress,
With each passing moment, your colors blend,
A masterpiece, where beginnings meet an end.
Then comes the evening, a gentle sigh,
You wrap the world in a velvet tie,
Stars emerge, like diamonds in the dark,
Each one a wish, each one a spark.
The moon, a guardian, hangs high and bright,
Casting silver dreams through the quiet night,
And in this stillness, hearts start to soar,
For in your embrace, we long for more.
Oh, sky of wonder, with tales untold,
You cradle our secrets, both timid and bold,
From the stormy tempest to the calm of the breeze,
In your vastness, we find our ease.
So let us wander, let us explore,
Under your canopy, forevermore,
For in your arms, we find our place,
In the endless beauty of your embrace.
With every sunset, and every dawn,
You remind us gently that life goes on,
Oh, sky above, with your endless grace,
You are our haven, our sacred space.
