I can remember where I have been and how I got there.
I see the hands of God and I'm not afraid.
By every bluster of wind or rain,
My feet are on the ground because of His mercy.
I did not do it by my power,
Nor by the knowledge that I had.
When I was feeble and almost fell,When I was feeble and nearly fell,
My mercy came and took hold of me.
When guilt is loud, God's mercy speaks,
It brings up the broken ones from the earth.
It allows a sinner time to pray about it,
And leads back to His paths the lost.
When there was no hope, and doors were shut,
I was helped by his mercy.
But when his friends left He stood,
Losses, pain, through every loss.
The day arrives in glory anew,
His mercy makes my strength renew.
Yesterday may cause some remorse,
“Your story continues,” says his mercy.
I will praise Him in my lifetime;
For all that He has done for us.
This my heart will sing and this my soul will say:
Thank You, Lord, for grace today.
Its mercy is if I am standing.
I am breathing, it is grace.
If there's still one more time,
It is His tender mercy that is displayed.
Eternal God, let Your mercy be with me,
Today, tomorrow, endlessly.
When my journey here shall be finished,When my journey here shall be ended,
Fill me with the Spirit of the Lord, my Son.
In all that I am and hope to be,
I put under Your protection.
Forevermore my heart will sing:
How great Your mercy is, O Lord and King.
