Karma may be at the corner .
I saw a post that asked if I would forgive someone that hurt me deeply and it reminded me of the only person who ever did .
When I was 23 years old I fell deeply for my first Hausa babe who hailed from Zaria but was working in Lagos and she was 22 years old then . There was this guy with money who knew she was my girlfriend and he went after her with all he is got and eventually she ghosted me and moved in with him . Honestly I was dazed and felt the world was going to crumble under me . It was not even that the guy is a Muslim as he was a Christian from Edo State, I went to her office several times to beg her to come back that she is forgiven and she was looking at me like dirt . The same babe I was once the world to .
When this guy came to me to tell me to move on I finally faced reality and started moving on gradually with my pain . They got married about a year after and I felt that was it . Six months after the marriage the guy died in a ghastly car accident in the same sports car he used to woe her from me . I attended his funeral since he was someone I knew and I was looking at her sobbing while I was wondering what it would have been if she had stuck with me . As I was leaving the burial ground she called me and when I got to her she apologized for the way she treated me because she suddenly stopped talking to me and refused to see me . Her apology actually made me to bleed inside my heart as I was really wounded but I learnt a lesson since then never to give a woman more than 80% of my heart and to have a backup you can cry to in case of a let down .
After her mourning period she visited me and was wondering if we could get back and I told her no because I see me as someone she needed at her vulnerable period and when she is whole again I will be dumped . More so her late husband was rich as he had a big house , cars and God knows how much in his bank account that the only help I could render was to work with her to fight her in-laws as they will definitely come after her for his property since she had no children for him less than a year married . I advised that she should sell the house and move back to Zaria because they will forcibly force her out eventually by intimidation and she should thank God those relatives are in Benin not Lagos but they will be cooking something .
Two weeks after this conversation as I predicted her late husband’s relatives came and took his second car they found when she was out of the house and carted away most of his belongings by truck to Edo state and that is when she took me serious to sell the house in Lagos
and move back to Zaria since she was no longer working anyway at least she could buy a decent house in Zaria cheaper than Lagos and still have change to start a business of her own .
Moral of the story is to men , do not think because you have money you can intentionally steal the wife or a girl friend of someone you know , you may not live long enough to enjoy her . That is why I do not do anyone’s wife or girl friend that I know as I want to live long . I did not avenge the guy ooh. Such is life
