MONDAY MORNING PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of a new Monday and the beginning of another week. Thank You for the grace to see this day, for the lessons of the week behind me, and for the opportunities that lie ahead. As I step into this new week, I surrender my plans, expectations, and responsibilities to You. Let Your wisdom guide me, Your favour surround me, and Your presence strengthen me in everything I do.
Father, go before me and make the path ahead clear. Where I need direction, speak to my heart; where I need courage, strengthen me; and where I need patience, help me wait without losing faith. Deliver me from confusion, wrong decisions, and distractions that could waste my time. Give me the discipline to focus on what matters and the grace to fulfil the assignments You have placed before me.
Lord Jesus, let this week bring meaningful progress into my life. Bless the work of my hands, give me creative ideas, and connect me with people who will contribute positively to my growth and purpose. Let the right opportunities locate me, let difficult matters receive solutions, and let my efforts produce good results. Where I have experienced delays, help me move forward with wisdom and perseverance.
Father of mercy, remember everyone beginning this week with uncertainty, pain, or unmet needs. Provide for those searching for employment, strengthen those carrying heavy responsibilities, heal those who are sick, and comfort those facing private battles. Visit families in distress, encourage those who feel forgotten, and grant peace to everyone whose heart is troubled. Let this week bring help, hope, and renewed strength to those who need Your intervention.
Father, preserve me and my loved ones throughout this week. Protect us as we travel, work, study, and attend to our daily responsibilities. Keep us from harm, unhealthy relationships, and decisions that could lead us away from Your purpose. Let my character reflect Christ, my words carry grace, and my heart remain steadfast in faith regardless of what I encounter.
Today I declare:
The Lord goes before me this week, and my steps are established in His wisdom.
I receive grace to accomplish my responsibilities with excellence and discipline.
Divine favour, helpful connections, and meaningful opportunities are part of my journey this week.
I will not be ruled by fear, confusion, or discouragement; my confidence is in God.
My household is covered by God's mercy, and we shall experience His peace and protection.
This week, I will grow in faith, make wise decisions, and see the fruit of God's goodness in my life.
Father, I place this Monday and the entire week before You. Establish the work of my hands, order my priorities, and help me remain faithful in every season. Let me not be distracted by difficulties or overwhelmed by responsibilities. May this week be fruitful, peaceful, and filled with opportunities to honour You.
