Effective Action
You must use your thinking and start doing what you can do where you are; and you must do all that you can do where you are.
By outgrowing your existing circumstances, you may advance; and no one is bigger than their current position who doesn't do any of the tasks related to that location.
Only individuals who do more than fill their existing positions push the world ahead. If no one else could fill his current position, it was obvious that everything was deteriorating. People who do not fully occupy their current positions are a burden on society, government, commerce, and industry; others must carry them at a high cost. Those who do not occupy the positions they hold are the only ones who impede the development of the globe; they are from a prior period and a lower level or stratum of life, and they have a proclivity for decay. The rule of mental and physical evolution governs societal development, and no society can advance if all men are smaller than their station. Overpopulation causes evolution in the animal kingdom.
When an organism has more life than it can express through the functions of its own plane, a higher plane's organs are created, and a new species emerges. There would never have been new species if there had not been creatures that took their place. You are subject to the same regulations; your wealth is contingent upon your using this idea in your own business.
Each day is either a triumph or a failure; and the successful days are those that pay off what you wish for. If you fail every day, you will never get wealthy; but if you succeed every day, you will inevitably become rich. If there is something that can be done today and you don't do it, you have failed with regard to that particular task, and the consequences may be more catastrophic than you realize. Even the tiniest deed has unforeseen repercussions, and you are unaware of how all the forces operating on your behalf operate. A lot could rely on you doing something uncomplicated; it might be the thing that opens the door of opportunity to really wonderful possibilities. You cannot possibly comprehend all the combinations that Supreme Intelligence is arranging for you in the sphere of objects, events, and human concerns.
A lengthy delay in obtaining what you desire might be brought on by neglect or failure to perform a small action.
Do all that can be done today, every day. However, there is a limit or qualification to the aforementioned that you must keep in mind. Don't overwork yourself or rush blindly into your business trying to accomplish as much as you can in the least amount of time.
Today, you shouldn't attempt to complete tomorrow's task, and you shouldn't try to complete a week's worth of work in a single day. What matters is not how many things you do, but rather how EFFICIENTLY each individual action is performed.
Every act is either a success or a failure on its own. Each act is effective or inefficient in and of itself.
If you perform inefficient acts throughout your life, your whole life will be a failure since every inefficient act is a failure. If all of your actions are ineffective, then the more things you do, the worse it is for you. However, every successful action is a triumph on its own, and if all of your activities are effective, your whole existence MUST be a success. The reason for failure is not doing enough things efficiently and doing too many things inefficiently.
You'll notice that it's a self-evident fact that you'll get wealthy if you perform enough effective actions and no inefficient ones. Again, you can see how gaining wealth is reduced to a precise science, much like mathematics, if it is now possible for you to perform each action effectively.
The issue is whether you can make every single action a success in and of itself. And this you can surely achieve. Since ALL Power is working with you, and ALL Power cannot fail, you may ensure that every action is a success. Energy is there for you to utilize; all you have to do is apply it to make every activity effective.
