Am I Actually An Introvert?

Am I Actually an Introvert?

So, I think I have actually become an introvert… but honestly, I’m not even sure what to call myself anymore. 😂

For the number of years that I have been on this earth, I have mostly been indoors. And the funny thing is, it wasn’t even entirely my choice. My parents basically made staying at home my lifestyle. 😂😭

Like, some people grew up knowing exactly what a sleepover with friends looks like. Some people have experienced spontaneous game nights, movie nights, going out for food, chilling at a friend’s house, or just randomly deciding to go somewhere together.

Me?

Indoors.

Indoors!

INDOORS!!

😂😭

At this point, I honestly don’t even know what a proper sleepover is supposed to look like. If someone tells me, “Let’s have a movie night,” my brain is probably going to ask, “At home, right?” 😂

And somehow, I think all this staying indoors has started to affect me because I actually think I’m a very fun person. 😂 I mean, at least I think I am. I don’t know what other people’s perspective of me is, but inside my head, I’m definitely fun!

The problem is, as I’ve grown older and gotten used to staying at home, I’ve noticed something strange.

I don’t always want to go out anymore.

And it’s so funny because when I’m at home for too long, I’ll be there thinking, “God, I’m tired of this house. I just want to go out. I want to have fun. I want to chill. I want to experience life!”

Then the moment an actual opportunity comes?

“Ahhh, nahhh. I’m tired.” 😂😭

Imagine my friends saying, “We’re going to the pool!”

And I’m just there like…

“Hmm… maybe next time.”

NEXT TIME FOR WHAT?! 😭😂

Before I know it, everybody has gone, had fun, taken pictures, laughed together, and created memories, while I’m at home comfortably existing like a retired grandmother.

And the funniest part is that I was even in boarding school for a while, so technically, I spent more time in school than at home. Yet somehow, I still managed to develop this strong attachment to staying indoors.

Now that university has started, I’m beginning to wonder if this habit is going to follow me there too. 😂

My friends could be planning to go somewhere and I’ll be calculating whether I really want to leave my room.

Sometimes I even wonder if I’m secretly afraid of going out because I can already imagine my mother’s spirit following me around like:

“Where exactly are you going?” 👀

😂😭💔

Maybe I’ve just become too used to the comfort of home. Maybe I’m an introvert. Maybe I’m an ambivert. Or maybe I’m simply a girl who wants to go out until it’s actually time to go out! 😂

Honestly, I don’t know what I am anymore.

All I know is that I want to enjoy my university years, make memories, have fun with friends, and actually experience life outside the four walls I’ve become so comfortable with.

So, am I an introvert?

An ambivert?

Or am I just suffering from a serious case of “I want to go out… but now that we’re going out, I don’t want to go”? 😂😭

Or what's your own category

An introvert ?

An ambivert?

An extrovert?
