You and Me

You and Me

You and me, two hearts that somehow found each other in a world that never promised we would meet.

You came quietly, like a song I didn’t know I needed, and somehow, your presence became a place my heart wanted to stay.

There is something about you that feels like a familiar dream, like I have known your soul long before I knew your name.

And maybe love isn’t always about perfect timing, or perfect people, or knowing exactly where the road ends.

Maybe sometimes it is simply this you, standing beside me, and me choosing to stay.

If the world becomes too loud, I hope we find silence together. If the distance grows between us, I hope our hearts remember the way back.

I don't need forever to be promised in grand words. I only want the little moments your laughter, my smile, the conversations that stretch into midnight, and the quiet comfort of knowing I am not alone.

You and me.

Not perfect.

Not certain.

Not without our storms.

But real.

And if life gives us a thousand different roads, I hope somehow, somewhere along the way, our paths keep crossing.

Because out of everyone I could have met, there is something beautiful about the fact that I met you.

And for as long as our story lasts, whether it is a chapter or an entire lifetime, I will always be grateful that there was once a you and me.
