I don't mind shouting it to the world that you are the light I bear, the love of my life, and the sweetest treasure I have found in this whole wide sphere.
The truth is, I have found so much pleasure in the treasures of the beauty you ignite within my heart, a beauty that words can barely capture and time can never completely erase.
After God, you are the best part of my life, the rarest virtue that understands the hidden pains behind my smiles and the silent battles concealed beneath my laughter. You brighten my heart with the similitude of your smile, turning my gloomy moments into memories worth keeping.
I wrote this very poem to express how much I have lost touch with myself these past few days because of the dimness of your absence. The silence around me speaks loudly of how deeply I miss your presence.
I feel crippled by the loneliness that surrounds me; my heartbeat now composes melodies from the fading memories of the last time we saw each other.
Those beautiful moments are slowly disappearing into the shadows of a falling light, yet I know I will be fine. For even when distance dims the brightness of our togetherness, hope keeps my heart alive, patiently waiting to behold your gestures, your smile, and your beautiful presence once again.
I love you.
