One quiet evening, a boy named Sami was sitting on his bed. He was doing his homework when he heard a strange sound from his old phone.
“Beep! Beep!”
Sami looked at the phone. He was surprised because he did not expect any message. He picked it up and checked the screen.
There was a message from an unknown number.
“Tomorrow, take your blue umbrella to school.”
Sami laughed.
“Who is playing a joke on me?” he said.
He ignored the message and went back to his homework.
The next morning, the sky was bright and sunny. There was no sign of rain. Sami looked at his blue umbrella near the door. He wanted to leave it at home, but he remembered the message.
He took it with him.
When he reached school, the sky suddenly became dark. Soon, heavy rain started falling.
All the students ran inside. Sami opened his blue umbrella and smiled.
“How did that phone know?” he wondered.
That evening, another message came.
“Tomorrow, do not use the road near the old bridge.”
Sami became worried. He showed the message to his mother.
“Maybe someone is trying to scare you,” she said.
The next day, Sami did not use the road near the old bridge. Later that afternoon, he heard that the road had been closed because a large tree had fallen across it.
Sami was now very curious.
“Who is sending these messages?” he asked himself.
That night, another message arrived.
“We need your help.”
Sami quickly replied, “Who are you?”
For a few seconds, there was no answer.
Then his phone beeped.
“I am Sami. But I am Sami from the future.”
Sami's eyes became wide.
He read the message again and again.
“From the future?” he whispered.
The next message said:
“I found this old phone many years from now. It still works. I discovered that it can send messages back to the past. I need you to help me change one small thing.”
Sami asked, “What should I do?”
The answer came quickly.
“Plant the small tree beside your school. Do not let anyone cut it down.”
The next morning, Sami found a small tree near the school. He told his teacher about the message. At first, the teacher did not believe him. But Sami explained everything.
His teacher smiled and said, “A tree is always a good thing to protect.”
Together, they planted the tree in a safe place.
Years passed.
The little tree grew bigger and stronger. It gave shade to students and made the school yard beautiful.
One evening, Sami found his old phone in a box. He switched it on.
There was one final message.
“Thank you, Sami. Because of you, many things are better in my time.”
Sami smiled.
He looked at the tree outside his window and thought about the strange phone.
He never knew if the messages were truly from the future or if there was another answer. But he learned something important.
Sometimes, one small action can change many lives.
And from that day, Sami never ignored a chance to do something good.
