LETTERS TO MY FRIENDS. HOW ARE YOU... REALLY?

LETTERS TO MY FRIENDS.

HOW ARE YOU... REALLY?

Beyond conversations.Heartfelt conversations . Timeless truth. Living hope.

Some conversations deserves more than just a passing moment. So I write them down. Letters, essays and Poetry about faith, friendship, growth and the beautiful journey of becoming.

Dear Friend,

Can I ask you a question?

Not the kind we ask in passing. Not the kind that expects, "I'm fine."

I mean the real question.

How are you... really?

How is your heart?

How is your mind?

How is the version of you that nobody gets to see?

We've become so good at saying, "I'm okay," even when we're not. We laugh in public, post beautiful pictures, celebrate little wins, and keep moving.

Yet, behind closed doors, some of us are fighting silent battles, fear about the future, disappointment from unanswered prayers, loneliness in crowded rooms, the pain of broken friendships, the pressure to become "something" before a certain age, or simply the exhaustion of trying to keep everything together.

Sometimes, we don't even know how to explain what we're feeling. We just know we're tired.

If that's where you are today, I want you to know this:

You don't have to pretend with God.

One of the most comforting truths I've come to know is that God isn't fooled by our smiles, nor is He intimidated by our brokenness. He sees beyond every "I'm fine," and still says, "Come."

Jesus said,

" Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." — Matthew 11:28 (KJV)

Notice that He didn't say, "Come when you've figured everything out."

He didn't say, "Come when you're stronger."

He simply said, "Come."

What a beautiful invitation.

Dear friend, maybe this is your reminder that you don't have to carry every burden by yourself. You don't have to have all the answers today. You don't have to hide your tears from the One who counts them.

God is near.

He sees the silent prayers.

He knows the battles you haven't told anyone about.

And even when life feels uncertain, His love for you remains unwavering.

As we begin this journey together through "Letters to My Friend" , my prayer is that these letters will become gentle reminders that no matter what season you find yourself in, there is always hope in Christ.

So today, before you scroll away, take a deep breath.

Talk to God.

Tell Him exactly how you're doing.

He already knows, but He still wants to hear your voice.

REFLECTION.

If someone sincerely asked, "How are you... really?" what would your honest answer be?

PRAYER.

Heavenly Father, thank You because You know me completely and still love me deeply. Help me to stop pretending before You and to find rest in Your presence. Teach me to trust You with every burden I carry. Let my heart find peace in Your unfailing love. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Until the next letter...

With hope always,

Your Friend. šŸ¤
