PRAISE THE LORD, O MY SOUL

Praise the Lord, my soul, All that I am, let it praise His holy name. Life is not always smooth sailing, and the road may sometimes be rough and may not always have the answers to all the questions there is always a reason to praise God. His goodness is always the same, His mercy will never end and His love is always with us.

Bless the Lord, my soul, for He has given you the gift of life. Each day that you awaken is a day to experience His faithfulness. If you can breathe in your lungs, if you have strength in your body, if you can see another day, those are blessings you should never take for granted. We can praise God for all that we have, even if we don't have everything we want.

Praise the Lord, O my soul, because He gives us another chance to put our sins behind us. We can make mistakes, fall short or sometimes lose our way but God's mercy gives us hope. His grace tells us that our history shouldn't be our destiny. When we turn to Him with our whole heart, He meets us with love and compassion.

Praise the Lord, O my soul, because He is our strength in difficult times. As we encounter difficult and burdensome roads, God provides us with courage to continue. If you weep in privacy, He sees what you're doing. He knows and understands our hurt when we are hurt in our hearts. When we are alone He is not.

Praise the Lord my soul for His provision. Sometimes we don't know how our needs will be satisfied, but somehow, something God does. He brings opportunities to us beyond our imagination and gives blessings where we could have never dreamed. His timing may not always be our timing, but His plans are always greater than ours.

Praise the LORD, for it is good; sing to Him all the time. God doesn't forget you when you wait. At times, the time of waiting is a time of preparation for the blessing that is about to come. Keep on believing in Him. Continue to pray. Continue to believe. When it appears as though there is a delay, it could be God's perfect plan.

Let your praise be louder than your problems and your faith stronger than your fears. Do not say, "Praise God when things are going your way.Don't say, "When things go my way, praise God. Praise Him in the storm, praise Him in the waiting, praise Him in the victory, don't worry if you don't understand.

Make a decision today, to praise the Lord with all your heart. Think of His good fortune, list all your blessings and never forget from where the help comes from.

My soul, praise the Lord, and never forget all His benefits. Make each breath a witness, each struggle a test of faith and each new day, another affirmation of the words:

Thank you Lord for Your mercy, Your grace, Your protection, Your unfailing love, I will praise You today, tomorrow, forever.
