Writers 
Many will begin with you and few will end with you.
On every trip, there are most likely other people around us. Friends promise us things, family says they'll support us, and people tell us what they think we can do. In a dream's infancy, everyone is thrilled.
However, with the increasing difficulty of the journey, something changes.
Some people disappear.
Not all those who walk with you will arrive at the end with you. Others are only put in a specific season of your life. They can go for a walk with you for a bit, or teach you something, help you through a certain chapter, and then they can leave your way.
But sometimes, it hurts....
You may ask yourself, “What happened? This was our beginning. So why am I going on my own?
However, sometimes separation does not lead to failure. At times, individuals leave because their part in your journey is finished.
Reflect on the changes you've made over the years. What you were dreaming about, what you were concerned with, what you were thinking, and what you were doing about five years ago, may not be the exact same thing that you are thinking and doing today. Of course, there are certain relationships that will evolve as one grows.
When you allow growth to happen, you will see who is willing to journey with you into your next season.
Some people will rejoice at your starting point and have trouble with your journey. Some will help you with your dreams until you succeed and you have to sacrifice them. Some will enjoy aspects of you that they're familiar with but struggle with the person you've become.
Let that not deter you.
You don't need others walking beside you to make your journey.
In some cases, you must continue to move when the number of people decreases.
At times, you will need a pep talk. There will be nights when no one is calling to see how you're doing. Seasons will come when people who you thought you were going to be with will not be around.
Keep going.
Those who survive through tough times are more valuable than those who come through during easy times. True friendship is not only demonstrated by appreciating you when you're successful when life is tough, it's also demonstrated by your friend's ability to stick by you.
Don't be bitter about those who have left, however.
Wish them well.
Some of us are the chapters and not the book. Celebrate their contribution, take advantage of what you learned and keep on writing your story.
When you finally arrive at the location that you've been praying for and working for, remember those who were there with you when there was no reason to celebrate.
There are lots of people that you meet during your success, but during your struggle, you will go around and meet the few people who really care.
So, if your circle gets smaller the bigger you get, it does not mean that something is wrong.
Sometimes it's just that you're choosing to not let as many people walk beside you.
Keep moving.
Keep growing.
Keep believing.
Your journey was about not having everyone with you.
It was about being all that you were designed to be, even when you have to go through some of the journey yourself.
