Beneath the sky, so wide and blue,
A peaceful lake reflects the view.
Its waters sparkle in the light,
A lovely treasure, pure and bright.
The gentle waves begin to rise,
Like silver ribbons under skies.
The morning sun shines from above,
Filling the lake with warmth and love.
Around its banks, the grasses grow,
Where little flowers gently glow.
The trees stand tall, their branches spread,
While birds sing songs above their heads.
The fish swim freely, deep below,
Through hidden places, calm and slow.
The frogs leap softly from the shore,
And water lilies bloom once more.
At dawn, the mist begins to rise,
Like clouds descending from the skies.
It wraps the lake in robes of white,
A beautiful and magical sight.
When evening comes, the sun turns gold,
And paints the waters, smooth and cold.
The orange clouds drift far away,
As daylight slowly fades to grey.
Beneath the moon, the lake shines bright,
Reflecting stars throughout the night.
The gentle breeze begins to blow,
And whispers secrets down below.
Oh, lovely lake, so calm and deep,
Where nature finds a place to sleep.
And offer peace with every strand.
Your waters give the earth its life,
A shelter from the world's great strife.
You teach us patience, teach us peace,
And let our restless worries cease.
Though storms may come and winds may roar,
Your beauty remains forevermore.
So let us guard your waters clear,
And keep your precious treasures dear.
For lakes are gifts we must protect,
With love, respect, and kind respect.
A peaceful haven, calm and bright,
A jewel beneath the sun and night.
Forever may your waters flow,
And keep the world with life aglow.
