THE IMPACT OF THOUGHT ON ONE'S HEALTH AND BODY

The mind's servant is the body. It adheres to the mind's operations, whether they are consciously selected or automatically articulated. At the instruction of illegal ideas, the body quickly succumbs to disease and decay; at the instruction of joyful and gorgeous thoughts, it dons youth and beauty.

Like events, health and illness have their roots in thinking. A sickly body will reflect sickly thoughts. They are constantly slaying thousands of people just as surely but less quickly, and it is known that thoughts of fear can slay a man as quickly as a bullet. Individuals who live in fear of getting a disease are more likely to get it. Anxiety quickly destroys the body, making it susceptible to disease; impure thoughts, even if not physically acted upon, will quickly shatter one's peace of mind.

Vigour and grace are instilled in the body by happy, pure, and robust thoughts. The body is a plastic and delicate instrument that readily responds to the thoughts that are imprinted upon it, and habits of thought will leave their own positive or negative mark on it.

As long as males spread unclean thoughts, their blood will remain tainted and contaminated. A pure life and a pure body are produced by a pure heart. A corrupted existence and a tainted body come from a sullied intellect. Make the source pure, and everything will be pure, for thinking is the source of all action, existence, and manifestation. A man who won't change his thoughts won't benefit from a diet change. A person no longer craves unclean cuisine after cleaning his ideas.

Clean thoughts produce clean habits. A saint who doesn't wash his body isn't a saint. It is not necessary for him who has purified and strengthened his ideas to take into account the evil microorganism.

Protect your mind if you want to protect your body. If you want to revitalize your body, mind enhancement. Malice, jealousy, disappointment, and hopelessness steal the body's grace and health. Sour thoughts do not cause a sour face; they are the result of them. Folly, enthusiasm, and pride create lines that uglify.

I am familiar with a woman who is ninety-six years old and has the bright, innocent countenance of a young girl. I am familiar with a guy whose features are warped into asymmetrical patterns and who is far from middle age. The latter stems from rage and dissatisfaction, while the former comes from a sweet and sunny attitude.

A strong body and a cheerful, happy, or peaceful face can only be achieved by freely letting thoughts of joy and goodwill and serenity into the mind, just as you cannot have a pleasant and healthy home unless you let the air and sunshine freely enter your rooms.

There are wrinkles on the faces of the aged that are caused by compassion, others that are caused by powerful and clear thought, and still others that are etched by passion; who can't tell the difference? Old age is like the setting sun, calm, peaceful, and gently mellowed, with those who have lived righteously. I lately watched a dying philosopher. He was not old save for his years. He lived as peacefully and sweetly as he passed away.

For dispelling the pains of the body, there is no doctor like joyful thought; for dispersing the shadows of sorrow and grief, there is no comfort to equal goodwill. To be imprisoned in a self-made jail hole is to constantly live in thoughts of cynicism, mistrust, and envy. However, thinking well of everyone, being joyful with everyone, and patiently learning to find the good in everyone—these kind of unselfish thoughts are the gates to heaven, and living in peaceful thoughts toward every creature will bring abundant peace to their owner.
