MONDAY DAWN
stories/poem

MONDAY DAWN

Monday arrives without asking permission,

carrying a quiet basket of new beginnings.

It walks through sleeping streets with gentle footsteps,

brushing the darkness aside like a curtain,

inviting the sun to paint the sky with hope.

The air feels different, not because the wind has changed,

but because every heart is handed another chance

to write a better story than yesterday allowed.

Some greet Monday with eager smiles,

while others meet it with heavy sighs,

counting the hours before the day has fully begun.

Yet Monday remains patient and steady,

never offended by doubt or complaints.

It simply opens its hands and offers time,

asking only that we use it wisely.

The birds become the first musicians of the morning,

singing melodies that celebrate another sunrise.

Trees sway softly in applause,

their leaves whispering secrets of endurance.

The rivers continue their endless journey,

reminding us that progress is often quiet,

flowing forward one moment at a time.

Children step into classrooms carrying dreams,

workers unlock doors to fresh opportunities,

artists discover blank pages waiting for imagination,

and families gather around simple breakfasts,

sharing conversations that become cherished memories.

Monday is more than a name on a calendar;

it is the bridge between intention and action,

between wishing and doing,

between yesterday's lessons and tomorrow's victories.

WISHING YOU ALL A GREAT WEEK AHEAD!
