*THE VALUE OF TIME*
Time is one thing that is very common but also very expensive. Everybody has it, but not everybody knows how to use it well.
We often think we have a lot of time. We say we will do it tomorrow, next week, or next year. But time does not wait for anybody. Once a day goes, it is gone. You cannot borrow yesterday and you cannot use tomorrow today.
One thing about time is that it shows what is really important to us. If something is important, we create time for it. We like to say we are busy, but we are not really too busy, we just give our time to other things. For example, someone can spend three hours on TikTok but will say he has no time to read his book. So it is not about having time, it is about what we choose to use our time for.
The usage of time is one that must be prioritize, you have the whole of the time but most times seems not enough that's because you prioritize the non essentials and when it looks like the time is gone you want to do major and boom no more time.
The result you get is not a coincidence it's the reward of the usage of your time
Another thing is that time lost is not like money lost. If one loses money, they can work and get it back. But if you lose time, you cannot get it back again. No matter how much you try, yesterday will not come back. You can only learn from it and try to manage the next one well. That is why we should not waste time on things that do not add value, like too much gossip, too much scrolling, or unnecessary arguments.
Many waste time because they think they have plenty of it when we they are still young. They say later. Later becomes next month and next month becomes next year. Before you know it, one year has passed and you are still at the same place. Time does not make noise when it is going, it just goes quietly.
Using time well does not mean you should be working every minute. It also means resting well, learning something new, spending time with people that matter, and having time to think. people are busy every day but they are not productive. Time well spent is not always about being busy, sometimes it is about being intentional and focused with what you're doing.
In this generation, one of the biggest thieves of time is phone. People pick it to check one message and they end up spending one hour scrolling without even knowing what they are looking for. Before you know, our planned time for reading has gone. So to value time, we have to discipline ourselves.
In conclusion, time is the real currency of life. We all have 24 hours in a day. Rich or poor, young or old, everybody has the same 24 hours. What makes the difference is how we use it. If we respect time, our life will show it.
