Men are born to bear when the world begins to fall.
To triumph over their fears and to respond to duty's call.
Behind their silent faces are battles left untold,
Burdens on their hearts, and stories un-told.
A man's more than muscles, a man's more than a voice so loud,
More than the clothes he wears, or standing in a crowd of people.
His value lies in his personality, his bravery and his heart,
The truth of his decisions, the love that he can give.
Men weep in the privacy of their homes when life gets difficult for them,
They conceal their ugliest secrets and guard their pain.
They smile to bring hope to their families when days are gray,
Fighting silent battles, taking away their peace.
When the winds of trouble arise a father is a shelter,
A brother is a partner through the seasons as they flow.
A husband is a promise of protection, respect and care,
A son is a man's blessing, a gift unsurpassed.
But strength nothing is in anger, and nothing in control,
Compassion is the source of greatness in man.
A courageous heart it will take to confess his mistakes,
And wisdom to be humble when the way is long.
Men, remember you are human, you are not made of stone;
You don't have to fight each battle all alone.
Don't be afraid to ask for help when it becomes too heavy,
For healing is not weakness, and love can be a crutch.
Be builders, not destroyers, healers, not hurters,
Who cherish all women and respect the earth.
Be men who make and keep their promises, whose words and actions match.
Who leave behind a legacy that stands the test of time.
For men of honour, men of truth and grace
Men who are men of wisdom and give kindness its place.
But even women who, with high voices, cry out for them to come.Not only men who pursue riches, or applause or fame;
But men who inspire others to rise and do as they do.
Now arise, ye valiant men, let your will be known.
Do as integrity tells you and abide by values.
Greatness doesn't come from the number of battles you have won,
But when all is said and done, by the good that you leave.
A true man is not demonstrated by his strength,
But by the lives he impacts, and the love he gives.
