The Brazilian also highlighted how much he appreciated the opportunity to play at the Emirates Stadium. Making an official appearance at a club’s home ground can be an important milestone for any new signing, particularly when the player immediately contributes to a positive result.

For Arsenal, Guimarães’ goal and the team’s victory against Leeds United provided encouraging talking points. Midfielders who can contribute offensively as well as support the team’s work in possession can offer managers valuable tactical options throughout a demanding Premier League campaign.
The goal could also help Guimarães build confidence as he continues adapting to his responsibilities in the Arsenal team. Settling into a new club involves understanding teammates, adjusting to tactical expectations and becoming familiar with the demands of a different playing environment.
Arsenal supporters will hope the midfielder can build on this promising performance and continue making meaningful contributions in upcoming fixtures. His ability to combine midfield work with attacking involvement could become an important asset as the Gunners pursue their objectives this season.
Ultimately, Guimarães’ Instagram message captured the emotions of a memorable matchday. Scoring a goal, earning a victory and receiving support from the home crowd made his first official appearance at the Emirates Stadium in an Arsenal shirt an occasion he is unlikely to forget.
