Read This Before You Give Up

Don't stop, pause to breathe.I know you're tired. There are times when you come to the point of saying, “What's all this good for? Is there ever going to be a change in my life?” You've tried, tried, tried and tried again, maybe you failed again. You have prayed, waited, hoped, and at times cried silently because you didn't know what else to do again.

So do not give up, as you've come a long way.

At one time you believed you would never survive some of the things you've survived. There were days when your heart was broken, but you got up and went on. At times, you didn't have much hope but you came back the following day and continued.

That means something.

You are more powerful than you realise.Life takes a turn for the worse when we're least expecting it. Sometimes we labor without getting results right away. We may plant seeds, and wonder why nothing grows! However, even if you are not seeing the progress immediately, there's still hope.

It takes time for a seed to turn into a tree.It lives under ground and grows roots, even though no one has seen it above ground. Your life too can be the same. If you're in a season where your growth is going on under the radar you may find this helpful.

Just because no one says anything doesn't mean they are "doing nothing.Perhaps you haven't arrived at your destination yet because you're still getting ready for it. Perhaps the wait is giving you patience training. Perhaps the grievance is in the development of your character. Perhaps it is a closed door which is shielding you from something you can't see.

Rejection is not always rejection.

So, if you're giving up on your dream, ask yourself this one question: "What if I'm not as far as I think?

What if there was a chance of breaking through just one more time?

What if the opportunity you have been praying for is approaching?

If this is the case, what if the struggle you are going through now is part of the process to who you will be tomorrow?

You can never tell until you keep on trying.

That is not to say don't face reality or don't change your plans. At times, you must take a break, rethink, relearn, or try something else. Time to rest does not equal time to quit.

Take a break, but don't give up on hope.Use a small amount of materials.Use a small number of resources.

Use what you have.Don't wait until you have all the answers before moving forward.

When you begin to think no one believes you, learn to believe in yourself. If it feels like you're not making the progress you should, keep in mind that slow progress is still progress. Don't be afraid to get back up if you fall down.

It is not a final destination if you are in the situation you are in now.

You might find later in your life that this challenging time in your life has given you strength, patience, wisdom and courage that you needed.

So, don't despair, remember this:

You've weathered tough times before. This one can be survived as well.

Keep walking.

Keep believing.

Keep trying.

This isn't the end of your story.
