Joy in Chaos
When the environment is noisy and unsettled,
And each path seems difficult to navigate,
When challenges arrive at our doorstep,
And anxieties occupy our thoughts,
There exists a small area of happiness,
That turmoil cannot eliminate,
A soft glow within the soul,
A tender, enduring bliss.
When ambitions shatter like fragile glass
And aspirations seem to diminish,
When memories from the past bring sorrow,
And the future fills us with dread,
Yet, laughter can still find a spot,
And optimism starts to blossom,
For joy is not merely the absence of conflict,
But the courage to navigate the current.
Occasionally, happiness can be discovered in the simplest of moments,
A grin, a melody, a heartfelt prayer,
A kind word from a loved one,
A friend who chooses to show they care.
It might be revealed in the light of morning,
Or droplets of rain on the surface,
In understanding that amidst the clamor,
Some tranquility can still be uncovered.
While chaos may envelop our existence,
It does not possess our spirit.
When everything seems beyond our grasp.
For even in the bleakest of nights,
The stars continue to shine;
And even as the world trembles,
Joy can inhabit within.
