EPISODE 4 — THE FIRST BIG OPPORTUNITY

EPISODE 4 — THE FIRST BIG OPPORTUNITY

Three years passed.

Daniel was now twenty years old.

He had become skilled at data entry, digital administration, and basic business operations.

His small online jobs were bringing in enough money to support himself.

But he still wanted more.

One afternoon, while working at the restaurant, Daniel received an email.

A company had seen some of his work online.

They wanted him to help organize their agricultural records.

Daniel read the email several times.

It was the biggest opportunity he had ever received.

But there was one problem.

The company wanted him to work with a team.

Daniel had never worked on a professional project of that size.

He was nervous.

Still, he accepted.

For the next several weeks, Daniel worked harder than ever.

He learned how to organize large amounts of information.

He communicated with team members.

He solved problems.

He made mistakes.

When he made mistakes, he corrected them.

The company manager noticed his dedication.

“You’re young,” the manager said one afternoon.

“Yes, sir.”

“But you work like someone with ten years of experience.”

Daniel smiled.

“I’m still learning.”

“That attitude will take you far.”

The project ended successfully.

The company offered Daniel another contract.

Then another.

His income began increasing.

Daniel moved from the small room he had been sharing with two other people into a modest apartment.

He bought better clothes.

He bought a better laptop.

But he didn’t forget where he came from.

He still visited Mrs. Rose.

He still helped Uncle Peter whenever he could.

And he began supporting young people who wanted to learn computer skills.

One evening, Daniel sat alone in his apartment.

He looked at the small desk where he worked.

Years earlier, he had slept on cardboard.

Now he had his own place.

He wasn’t rich yet.

But he was no longer helpless.

Daniel opened his notebook and wrote a new goal:

“Build something that can outlive me.”

He began researching businesses.

Eventually, he discovered an opportunity in agricultural technology.

His background in Crop Production Technology made him particularly interested in helping farmers organize production records and access useful information.

He started a small agricultural services company.

At first, there were only three people.

Daniel handled operations.

His friend Michael handled technology.

Another friend helped with field activities.

Their office was nothing more than a rented room.

But Daniel didn’t care.

He had learned that big dreams often begin in small places.

The business struggled initially.

Some clients refused to pay.

Some projects failed.

There were months when Daniel wondered whether he had made a mistake.

But he kept going.

Then something unexpected happened.

A large agricultural organization noticed their work.

They invited Daniel for a meeting.

He walked into the building wearing his best suit.

His hands were shaking.

But he reminded himself:

You have survived worse things than a difficult meeting.

He sat down.

The meeting began.

By the end of the afternoon, they had secured their biggest contract yet.

Daniel walked outside.

He looked at the sky.

And smiled.

His journey had finally begun to change.
