The Road I Still Believe In
I walk a road that no one else can see,
A quiet path that waits patiently for me.
It bends through days of laughter and pain,
Through moments of sunshine, and nights of rain.
Sometimes the road feels longer than before,
And I wonder what tomorrow has in store.
My feet grow tired, my heart feels small,
Yet something inside tells me not to fall.
I have learned that dreams are not always bright,
They sometimes disappear into the night.
But even when hope feels distant and far,
A little faith can become a guiding star.
I have seen people rise, and I have seen them fall,
I have watched strong hearts become tired of it all.
Still, life whispers softly, “Try once more,”
For every closed path may reveal a new door.
I do not need to know where the journey will end,
I only need courage to take the next step.
The future may frighten me, but I will not run,
Because every great journey begins with just one.
There are lessons hidden inside every mistake,
And strength can grow from every heartache.
The person I am is still being made,
Through every choice, every risk, every step I have taken.
So I will keep walking, even when I am afraid,
I will keep believing in the plans I have made.
The road may be difficult, the mountains may rise,
But I will keep moving beneath open skies.
One day, I may look back and finally understand
Why certain moments slipped right through my hands.
Why some doors closed, why some dreams had to wait,
And why patience was sometimes mistaken for fate.
Until that day, I will continue to believe,
In the life I can build and the dreams I can achieve.
I may not have everything I wish for today,
But I still have a reason to rise and find my way.
And if tomorrow brings another difficult mile,
I will carry my hope, and I will carry my smile.
For the road ahead may be unknown and wide,
But I believe there is something beautiful waiting on the other side.
