Life shows us that man is a changeable thing. A man or woman that you thought was always going to be there might turn cold. However, a friend who used to call daily might not call anymore. A person who was once a strength in your dreams may end up doubting your abilities. At times one changes due to external factors and at times one changes because of a change in interests.
However in the midst of all these changes, there is One who does not change: God.
People can say they'll do something, and then they don't. They can love today and walk away tomorrow. When everything is going well they'll remember you, but when things get tough, they'll forget. But God is not like that! He has no character according to circumstances. But because you struggle, his love doesn't go away. He is not dependent on anything else than your success or failure.
Life is often lonely, when everyone is rejecting you, God is still with you!
You might find yourself feeling left out of things at times. You might look and see that the people that you trusted are no longer right beside you. Consider yourself asking, “Why did they change? You might think that it's your own fault that they're gone. However, sometimes the ending of life's story for someone isn't leaving you. It could just be a reminder that your faith should go to the Lord, not to humans.
God is able to look at what you can't. He is acquainted with your secret battles. He knows when you're crying without anyone knowing. He knows prayer that you don't have words to pray. Don't feel alone, He hasn't left.
Hebrews 13:8 says: Jesus is the same yesterday and today and forever. What a strong sense of security! The world could be different. People may change. Opportunities may change. Things can happen. But God remains faithful.
Don't let someone else's change cause you to question God's faithfulness.
If a person leaves, continue to walk. If rejected, continue to believe. Don't give up on the purpose God had for you, if somebody stops supporting you. The fates do not restrain you or keep you from what will happen. God can bring new people into your life, open new doors and create opportunities you never thought of.
Sometimes God will let some people go because he knows that they can't go with you into your next season. Rejection may turn into protection. Your sense of isolation could be your season to experience God's presence on a greater level.
If changes of people, do not lose hope.
Friends may leave, but God will not!
Where doors are closed, God is there.
God is always present when we are weak.
If you are in a situation where you don't know what is going on, God is still there.
When they all declare "it is done" God can reply, "I am not finished with you.
Hold on to Him. Trust Him. Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep walking.
God does not change, people do. His love remains. His promises remain. His faithfulness remains. As long as God is around, there is hope for your tomorrow.
