HIS PERFECT WIFE 12
story

HIS PERFECT WIFE 12

‎Mama's condition grew worse.

‎‎She wasn't improving. Instead, she was getting sicker by the day. The little strength she once had was disappearing, and she could no longer do anything to support me.

‎

‎That meant I was practically on my own. ‎Apart from the little help Daniel was giving me, I had to find a way to support myself. And honestly, there were times when things became extremely difficult.

‎

‎There were days when I had nothing to eat. I would become completely broke, with nothing left in my pocket, and I would simply wait until I found a little business I could do. Once I made some money, I would manage it carefully and continue again.

‎

‎It wasn't an easy life. I was trying to survive university, take care of myself, worry about Mama, and somehow keep everything together.

‎

‎Daniel was helping me whenever he could, but he was also struggling. He wasn't rich, and I never expected him to carry all my problems. He was doing his best, just as I was doing mine.

‎

‎Then there was the internship. The company was taking a lot of my time. Because of the nature of the work and the responsibilities we were given, I couldn't do as many little hustles as I used to. My time was no longer completely mine.

‎

‎I would leave early, spend most of the day at the company, and return tired. Sometimes, I wished I had more time to make money outside the internship.

‎

‎But I couldn't abandon the opportunity. I knew how important it was. So I kept trying to balance everything.

‎

‎Whenever I could find a little business to do, I did it. Whenever Daniel could help, he helped. And whenever Mama had the strength to encourage me, she did.

‎

‎We were all simply doing what we could. Then, one day, something was announced at the company.

‎‎The owner of the company was coming to the country. Apparently, he was coming to pay the employees a visit. The announcement immediately caused a different kind of excitement in the organization.

‎

‎Everyone started talking about it. The owner was not someone we saw every day. He was the person behind the company, the man whose name carried weight within the organization.

‎

‎So, naturally, his visit was a big deal. The employees began preparing. People wanted everything to look perfect before he arrived. The atmosphere around the company slowly changed. Even though I was dealing with so many personal problems outside those walls, I couldn't help but become curious.

‎

‎I wondered what the owner would be like.

‎‎Would he be strict?

‎‎Would he be friendly?

‎‎Would he even notice the interns?

‎‎I had no idea.

‎‎At that point, I was simply focused on doing my work properly and getting through my internship. I had bigger problems waiting for me at home.

‎

‎Mama was getting worse. My finances were getting worse.

‎‎And every day, I was becoming more tired. Yet, somehow, I continued.

‎

‎I didn't know that the arrival of the company owner would soon become much more significant to me than I ever expected.
