You tread the path of destruction—
all for the sake of a trend.
Chasing clout, you lose sight
of Him who never changes.
Your fire dims,
not because He has moved,
but because you have wandered.
You fear standing out,
so you blend into the crowd.
You trade consecration for validation,
conviction for applause,
and the secret place for a scroll.
For likes,
For noise,
For pleasure,
For fleeting shadows
that disappear as quickly as they come.
Vanity upon vanity—
all is vanity.
You feed your eyes,
but your soul remains hungry.
You fill your hands,
yet your heart is empty.
As Isaiah 55:2 asks:
“Why do you spend money on what is not bread,
and your wages on what does not satisfy?”
Listen to Him.
Eat what is good.
Return to the Fountain
where your soul can delight in abundance.
Jesus is knocking.
Not with guilt,
but with love.
Not with rejection,
but with open arms.
Not unto Condemnation
but unto redemption
Come,
He awaits you
Return to your first love.
Return to the secret place.
Return to the altar.
Return to Him.
He waits—
patiently,
tenderly,
still calling your name.
Return,
while His voice can still be heard.
Now is the time
RETURN.
