There’s Light at the End of the Tunnel
When the night hangs low on your weary soul,
And the road feels broken beneath your feet,
When your dreams grow faint in the distance,
And hope becomes a song you can hardly repeat,
Keep walking.
The dark does not last forever.
The rain does not own the sky.
Even the moon disappears for a while,
Yet morning still remembers how to rise.
There will be days
when your heart feels heavy as stone,
When silence fills every empty room,
And you wonder why your journey
has taken so long.
But every tunnel has an ending.
Every winter loosens its hold.
Every wound learns, slowly,
How to close.
So carry your hope like a candle,
Small, trembling, but alive.
Guard it against the restless wind.
Let it remind you
that you are still trying,
still breathing,
still moving toward the light.
Do not envy the roads of others.
Your path has its own song.
Your feet may be tired,
your steps may be slow,
but slow is still forward.
And one day,
the darkness will thin.
A ribbon of gold will appear ahead,
soft at first,
then brighter,
then warm enough to touch your face.
You will step into the morning
and finally understand
that the tunnel never buried you.
It carried you.
Through fear.
Through tears.
Through nights that seemed endless.
And there you will stand,
beneath an open sky,
with light in your eyes
and strength in your bones.
So keep going.
The night is not forever.
Somewhere ahead,
the dawn is already calling your name.
