When we hear "hidden truth, we sometimes think it is something big like a secret in the world. But for me, the hidden truth is big on humans and how we really are and the way we do things on daily basis.
The hidden truth I have discovered is that everybody is fighting a battle you know nothing about.
We live in a world where people are good at hiding their pain . A person can be laughing with you in the afternoon and they would be crying alone at night in their silent place That is the part of the hidden truth. We wear fine clothes to cover not just our body, but also to cover our insecurities and we our scars .
I used to think that some people are just naturally confident, naturally happy, naturally strong. But as I grew older, especially in my microbiology studies, I started to understand people more better. I realized that the confident girl in class also feels nervous before presentation or before answering questions in class .The boy or girl that seems to have everything figured out also worries about his or her future. The hidden truth is that we are all the same - we all get scared, we all doubt ourselves , we all have fears we face.
But how we handle them is what makes the difference.
Another hidden truth is about love and kindness. The world teaches us to be strong and not show weakness. But the hidden truth is that strength is not in pretending you don't need anyone. Real strength is in admitting that you need God, you need people, you need help. Many of us are suffering because we are too proud or too ashamed to say "I need help or I am not okay".
Over time, the hidden truth I have come to terms with is that growth is not always beautiful. Sometimes growth looks like being alone, like losing friends and loved ones like failing a test or failing exams like feeling confused about your life plan, even when it's not the end of the world. People only celebrate you when you have grown and become successful, but nobody wants to talk about the hidden season where you were just trying to survive and going through things That hidden season is where real character is built.
Also, there is hidden truth in our spiritual life. We come to church, we sing, we shout Amen, but when we go home, we still struggle with thoughts, with temptation from the devil with worry. The hidden truth is that being a Christian does not mean you will not have problems or you will not be tested by the devil or God himself It just means you have God to carry you through the problems. God sees the hidden tears and hears the hidden prayers we pray silently, and that is what matters, not how we appear to people.
So finally I believe the hidden truth is this:
What you see is not all there is. There is always more behind a person, behind a smile, behind success. If we remember this we will judge less, we will love more, and we will be more patient with ourselves.
Because at the end of the day, we are all hiding something, and we are all searching for the same things peace, love, purpose, and God in our lives
