TIMES AND SEASONS HAPPEN TO THEM ALL
There is a time to rise,
And a time to fall,
A time to stand so tall,
And a time to feel so small.
The sun does not shine forever,
The rain does not fall always,
Even the darkest night must surrender
When morning announces its stay.
Times and seasons happen to them all,
To the mighty and the weak,
To those who stand behind the walls,
And those whose voices boldly speak.
The tree that blossoms in the spring
Will one day shed its leaves,
Yet in the silence of its waiting,
It holds a hope no eye perceives.
There is a season for planting,
And a season for the harvest,
A time for silent preparation,
And a time to stand and manifest.
Do not despise your winter,
Do not envy another's spring,
For the God who orders every season
Knows what each one needs to bring.
Joseph had his pit before the palace,
David had his wilderness before the throne,
And even Jesus had a season of waiting
Before His glory was fully shown.
So, why should you despair
Because your story seems delayed?
Why should you abandon hope
Because your sunshine seems to fade?
The earth does not produce its harvest
The moment the seed is sown;
Some victories take years of waiting,
Some strengths are formed alone.
And when your season of abundance comes,
Remember those who wept in the rain;
For the heart that has survived the winter
Must never forget the pain.
For seasons are not our masters,
And circumstances do not define our worth.
The God who holds tomorrow
Still holds the ends of the earth.
To the one who is waiting, hold on.
To the one who is winning, stay humble.
To the one who is weeping, take heart.
To the one who is falling, rise again.
For no season lasts forever,
No condition is the final call.
Life will turn, the tides will change,
And times and seasons happen to them all.
