JOURNEY
Life begins with a question,
And a road we cannot see,
A little step into tomorrow,
A search for who we’re meant to be.
We carry dreams like luggage,
Some heavy, some brand new,
We walk through days of laughter,
And nights that test us too.
The journey is not always easy,
Some roads are rough and long,
Some doors will close behind us,
While others lead us on.
We meet people on the highway,
Some stay, while others leave,
Some teach us how to trust again,
Some teach us to believe.
There are moments when we stumble,
And wonder where to go,
But every fall can teach us
What the heart needs to know.
Sometimes the road is lonely,
And silence fills the air,
Yet somewhere in the distance,
A brighter hope is there.
We chase the dreams before us,
Though fear may say, “Turn back,”
But courage keeps us moving
When confidence begins to crack.
The mountains may be taller,
The valleys may be deep,
But every step we choose to take
Is a promise we can keep.
We may not know the ending,
Or where the road will bend,
But every mile has meaning,
And every chapter ends.
So walk with faith and patience,
Let your lessons make you wise,
For the journey shapes the traveler
Long before the prize.
And when you reach tomorrow,
Look back at where you’ve been—
You may discover the greatest journey
Was the person you became within.
