Air is the breath that fills our lungs,
A silent gift for old and young.
It moves unseen from place to place,
Yet keeps all living things in grace.
It dances softly through the trees,
And whispers gently with the breeze.
It cools our bodies in the heat,
And makes the world feel fresh and sweet.
The birds depend on air to fly,
As clouds depend on winds in the sky.
Flowers sway when air goes by,
While kites rise proudly way up high.
We cannot see it with our eyes,
But air surrounds us, near and wide.
Without it, life could not remain,
No human, animal, or plant could sustain.
Air gives us oxygen to breathe,
A precious gift we must not grieve.
But when pollution fills the air,
It brings sickness, harm, and despair.
Smoke from factories, cars, and fire
Can make the air less clean and pure.
So we must care for what we share,
And work together to protect the air.
Plant more trees and keep skies clean,
Reduce pollution wherever it’s seen.
For clean air is a gift to all,
From mighty trees to creatures small.
Air may be silent, light, and free,
Yet it is vital to you and me.
Though invisible, its role is clear.
Life depends on the precious air.
