Journey To The Unknown

JOURNEY TO THE UNKNOWN

Imatitikwa was exhausted when she returned home, but she prepared supper for her children. After they ate and went to bed, she entered her bedroom, hid the mysterious piece of meat given to her by an old woman inside a clay pot, and lay down to sleep.

At midnight, a strange voice awakened her.

“Eat me now, Imatitikwa, or take me back home!”

Frightened, she approached the clay pot and removed its lid. The meat looked ordinary, but remembering the old woman's instructions, she picked it up and ate it. Surprisingly, it tasted like every kind of meat combined.

Suddenly, the mysterious voice spoke again.

“Meet me outside.”

Imatitikwa moved towards the door, but the voice stopped her.

“Not through the door. Pass through the wall!”

She stared at the wall in disbelief. However, gathering her courage, she approached it. Miraculously, the wall became like a thin veil, allowing her to pass through.

Outside, she found the old woman waiting beneath the night sky.

“It's time to go,” the woman said. “They're waiting for you.”

“Who is waiting for me?” Imatitikwa asked.

“You will soon find out.”

The old woman produced a broomstick and instructed Imatitikwa to climb onto it. After murmuring some mysterious words, the broomstick rose into the air.

Imatitikwa screamed and held tightly to the old woman as they flew above her village. Soon, the familiar houses, farmlands, and trees disappeared into the darkness.

They flew over the dreaded Evil Forest, where enormous trees stood like giants and strange lights flickered among the mist. Beyond the forest, Imatitikwa saw magnificent buildings unlike anything in her village.

“Where are we going?” she asked.

“To a place where you will discover things ordinary people know nothing about,” the old woman replied.

After a long journey, they arrived at an enormous mansion surrounded by ancient trees and towering walls. A gigantic gate covered with strange symbols opened slowly before them.

Inside the compound, several women dressed in elaborate garments awaited their arrival.

“So, you have finally arrived,” one woman said.

“Yes,” the old woman replied. “I have brought her as instructed.”

Imatitikwa followed the women into the mansion, where a magnificent hall contained an enormous table surrounded by witches of different ages.

Their conversation stopped as she entered.

An elderly woman seated at the head of the table rose to her feet.

“Welcome to our gathering, Imatitikwa. You have entered a world that ordinary people know nothing about.”

Imatitikwa bowed respectfully.

“But before you understand why you have been brought here, there are things you must learn,” the elderly woman continued.

She motioned for Imatitikwa to approach.

“Let the gathering begin!”

The witches exchanged mysterious glances, and the hall fell silent.

Imatitikwa had crossed the wall of her bedroom, flown over the Evil Forest, and entered a hidden world of mysteries. Yet she still had no idea why she had been summoned or what the witches wanted from her.

She did not know that her journey would change her life forever.
