Everyone has a time when things seem to be falling apart in his life. You're really putting out a lot of effort, but nothing is happening. You plan and they are not successful. You believe people, but they let you down. You pursue your dreams, but it is more difficult than you thought. It is easy to think that your story is about to end at those times.
However, what if it isn't?
What if this challenging period of time is just a chapter?
The worst chapter can be the best ending!
Life is a book and all books have different chapters. Some chapters are full of happiness, victory, laughter and gorgeous memories. Others are drained of pain and failure, loneliness, disappointment, and uncertainty. However, each chapter tells only part of the tale.
Don't condemn your entire life on one bad year!
Perhaps you didn't pass an exam. Perhaps you have lost your job. Perhaps a romance failed to work out. Perhaps your business isn't operating. Perhaps you have been seeking to do something for years, but you have yet to get the results you are after.
It hurts. It is frustrating. At times it may make you doubt yourself.
However, failure is not the end goal.
The toughest seasons are often times the best teachers. T Trials can help you learn patience. The way to gain wisdom is to learn from failure. Rejection can be used as a catalyst for success. Hard times can bring out strength in you that you never knew you had.
Think about a seed. It appears nothing is happening when planted in the ground. It's surrounded by darkness. But there's something going on down there. Roots are growing. Strength is developing. Then the seed sprouts and grows into a beautiful plant.
Your life can be different.
Do not despair that progress is not being made even if you don't know you are making progress.
So it is well to not give up on the basis that the situation is difficult now. Don't give up just because your outcome is slower than you would like. But don't compare your path with anyone else's! Each person has their own schedule.
You might be doing a chapter that has been already done, but that doesn't mean you're behind. Your story is unique.
On days when you are feeling weak, you will.On days when you're feeling weak, you will. If you feel the urge to rest, do so on those days but don't give up your dreams. It is not necessary to take 10 steps forward each day. Sometimes, it's a simple change that can make a big difference.
Keep going.
Keep learning.
Keep believing.
Keep working.
One day you might find yourself wishing you had never left the season you ran from, because it was the season you needed in order to pray for the season you want!
It wasn't the end of the pain.
The rejection was not the end of it.
The disaster did not prevent it.
The waiting wasn't the end.
It was just another chapter.
If your life feels hard, keep in mind, you're still writing your story.
Don't give up on a book after encountering a difficult chapter.
Turn the page.
But your story doesn't end there.
The toughest chapter can be the best chapter.
One day, you might be able to reflect on all the things you've survived and have the pride to say:
“But I didn't stop and I am happy I continued.”
