THE GIRL WHO TEXTED ME FROM MY OWN PHONE 📱

At 2:06 a.m., seventeen-year-old Nia received a message from her own phone number.

Nia, whatever happens tomorrow, don't go to the party.

She stared at the screen.

Then another message appeared.

And don't trust Daniel.

Nia immediately checked her phone number. It was definitely hers.

She called it.

Her phone began ringing in her hand.

She nearly dropped it.

The next morning, she showed her best friend, Kira, the messages. Kira laughed nervously.

“Maybe someone cloned your number.”

“Then how did they know about Daniel?”

Nia didn't answer.

Daniel was the boy she had secretly liked for months.

That evening, Daniel invited her to a party at his house.

Nia remembered the message.

Don't go.

She almost refused.

But curiosity won.

She went.

The party was crowded, loud, and completely normal.

Until 11:43 p.m.

Every light suddenly went off.

Someone screamed.

When the lights returned, Daniel was standing in the middle of the room, staring at Nia.

“You came,” he said.

Nia frowned.

“Of course I came.”

Daniel looked confused.

“I mean... you're not supposed to be here.”

Before Nia could ask what he meant, her phone buzzed.

You were warned.

Then another message.

Look upstairs.

Nia's heart began racing.

She went upstairs and found a bedroom door slightly open.

Inside was a desk covered with photographs.

Photographs of her.

At school.

At home.

With Kira.

With Daniel.

Some were taken that same day.

She picked one up.

It showed her standing outside Daniel's house.

On the back was tomorrow's date.

Then she noticed something worse.

There was another photograph underneath it.

It showed Nia lying unconscious on a sofa.

Her hands began shaking.

Suddenly, someone grabbed her shoulder.

She turned.

Daniel.

“What are you doing here?” he asked.

“You tell me!” Nia shouted, holding up the photograph.

Daniel's face went pale.

“I didn't take those.”

“Then who did?”

He pointed toward the desk.

“There.”

A laptop was open.

On the screen was a live video feed of the bedroom.

Someone was watching them.

Then a message appeared:

YOU SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO YOURSELF.

The laptop camera switched on.

Nia saw herself on the screen.

But the video wasn't live.

It was from tomorrow.

On the screen, Nia was sitting in the same bedroom, crying.

Beside her stood Kira.

Nia stared at the screen.

“Kira?”

Daniel looked confused.

“Kira isn't here.”

Nia's phone buzzed again.

She knows everything.

Suddenly, the bedroom door opened.

Kira walked in.

Nia stepped backward.

“You knew about this?”

Kira's eyes filled with tears.

“I tried to warn you.”

“Then why did you send me to the party?”

“I didn't.”

Nia froze.

Kira pulled out her phone.

“I've been getting the same messages.”

She showed Nia the screen.

The sender was Nia's number.

Then Daniel's phone buzzed.

Then Kira's.

All three phones displayed the same message:

THE TRUTH IS IN THE BASEMENT.

They went downstairs together.

Behind an old cabinet, they found a hidden door.

Inside was a room filled with computers, cameras, and hundreds of photographs.

On the wall was one sentence:

EVERYTHING YOU DO IS BEING WATCHED.

Daniel found a laptop containing recordings from the past year.

Someone had been secretly tracking them.

But before they could discover who, the computers shut down.

A voice came from the darkness.

“You weren't supposed to find this.”

The three friends turned.

Standing in the doorway was the person none of them expected.

Nia's older sister.

She looked at Nia and sighed.

“I've been trying to protect you.”

Nia stared at her.

“From who?”

Her sister pointed at the computers.

“From the people who have been watching us.”

Then every screen turned on at once.

One final message appeared:

THEY KNOW YOU FOUND THE ROOM.

Nia's sister grabbed her hand.

“Now we run.”

They escaped through a back door and contacted the police.

The investigation eventually uncovered a secret surveillance operation connected to several people who had been collecting students' private information.

The cameras were removed.

The people responsible were caught.

Weeks later, Nia finally felt safe again.

Then, one night, her phone buzzed.

She looked at the screen.

A message from her own number.

GOOD JOB.

Nia stared at it.

Then another message appeared.

BUT YOU STILL HAVEN'T FOUND THE PERSON WHO STARTED THIS.

She looked toward her bedroom door.

It slowly opened.

And her sister was standing there.

Smiling.

The End.
