I may have fallen,
I may have cried,
I may have ridden the waves,I may have walked through storms,
With no one by my side.
But deep down within my heart,
There is still a little of hope in the midst of it all,
A voice that will not let go of me,
After rain there will be sunshine.
I will rise again,
Although the journey may be long.
I'll pack up my nerve,I'll collect my bravery,
I will learn to be strong.
The pain may cause scars,
The memories may remain,
I will put aside my suffering, though,
Out of rain into lessons.
I wondered on some days,
But if my dreams should ever grow,
Days when all the doors were shut,
I didn't know what I was supposed to do.
But each hard time of day,
Has helped me stand up,Has taught me to stand up,
And all the sad lessons,
Has given me some insight.
I will rise again,
Not because life is easy, but because God is good:
Yet I cannot give in to my wickness,
If the trip takes a turn for the worse.
I will keep going and on going,
A faith in my heart,A trust in my mind,
I have to believe every dream's ,a broken dream,
Can be completed some day.
Let the winds blow,
May the mountains stand tall.
I may stumble on the journey,
I will rise after my fall, however.
My story is not yet done;
There's more to come.
I will rise again,
I still believe in me for as I do, I still like you.
