‎I choose God...

‎Distracted by opposite gender, wanting to text someone or call everyday just because I'm "scared" of being lonely..

‎I choose God...

‎Driven by fleshly desires, by lust, wanting to "just" do it, of course, everyone does it so it's no problem right?..

‎

‎I choose God...

‎Struggling to wake up early in the morning daily to have your devotion with God and seeing your siblings sleeping right beside you..

‎

‎I choose God...

‎In the moments I just want to say something "funny" even when I know it's unedifying and doesn't bring glory to the father..

‎

‎I choose God...

‎On the days I want to have those long night conversations with them, just because it's the only time they are "active", knowing fully well that it would disrupt my activities tomorrow..

‎I choose God...

‎The days I'd want to look at a person with so much hatred and jealousy..

‎

‎I choose God...

‎Even on the days when it seems like he's not there, On the days when it seems like I'm lonely, On the days when it seems like the pain is too much to bear, On the days when it seems like nothing's happening....

‎I choose God because he is LIFE,

‎I choose God because he is PEACE,

‎I choose God because he is LIGHT,

‎I choose God because he is my FATHER.

Choosing him is not an action of convenience, it's an action of intentionality. There are pleasures out there you would want to choose over God, but that it is pleasurable doesn't make it best for you.

The Essence of Choosing God is that he has your best interest at heart and you might at sometimes not know it because it might not look like it from the onset, but know it that he does and be intentional to choose him.

We are most times drawn away from him because of our selfish desire

Everyman is tempted when he is drawn away and enticed by his lust.

When your eyes is single your whole body would be full of light

You need to be intentional in choosing Him
