Chapter One: The Princess Nobody Remembered
Once upon a time, in a kingdom surrounded by green mountains and sparkling rivers, there lived a young princess named Seraphina.
She lived in a magnificent castle with tall golden towers, beautiful gardens, and hundreds of servants. Yet, despite all the beauty around her, Seraphina was lonely.
Her father, King Aldric, spent most of his time attending to the affairs of the kingdom. Her mother had passed away when she was very young, and although the king loved his daughter, he rarely knew how to show it.
Seraphina had everything a princess could wish for: beautiful dresses, delicious food, precious jewels, and a room overlooking the kingdom.
But there was one thing she wanted more than anything else.
She wanted someone who would listen to her.
Whenever she tried to tell her father about her dreams, he would smile and say, "A princess must learn to be strong. One day, you will understand."
So Seraphina learned to keep her thoughts to herself.
Every evening, she wandered through the castle gardens, speaking softly to the flowers.
She told them about her worries, her dreams, and the things she wished she could change.
And strangely enough, whenever she spoke to them, their petals seemed to open wider.
One night, while she was sitting beneath a rose tree, she heard a tiny voice.
"Why do you always look so sad, Princess?"
Seraphina jumped to her feet.
"Who said that?"
A little blue flower beside her began to glow.
"We did," it whispered.
Seraphina stared at it in amazement.
The flowers could speak!
And somehow, they had been listening to her all along.
Chapter Two: The Secret Garden
From that night onward, Seraphina visited the flowers every evening.
She discovered that each flower had a different personality.
The roses were proud and dramatic. The sunflowers were cheerful. The lilies were wise, while the little bluebells loved telling stories about the creatures that lived beyond the castle walls.
But there was one flower the others never spoke about.
It was a silver flower hidden behind an ancient stone wall at the far end of the garden.
One evening, Seraphina followed a trail of glowing butterflies and discovered a narrow opening in the wall.
Beyond it lay a garden unlike anything she had ever seen.
The trees had silver leaves. Tiny stars floated above the grass, and a crystal fountain stood in the centre of the garden.
At the fountain's edge grew a single silver flower.
Its petals shimmered like moonlight.
As Seraphina approached, the flower spoke.
"At last, the princess has arrived."
"Who are you?" Seraphina whispered.
"I am the Heartflower. I have protected this kingdom for a thousand years."
Seraphina knelt beside it.
"Why have I never seen you before?"
"Because this garden only reveals itself to those who are ready to understand its secret."
"And what is the secret?"
The flower's petals trembled.
"Your kingdom is in danger, Princess. The king has forgotten the old magic that protects these lands. Soon, a darkness will arrive that no sword can defeat."
Seraphina looked towards the castle.
"What can I do?"
The flower replied, "You must find the three gifts of the forgotten kingdom: courage, wisdom, and compassion. Only then will you understand how to save your people."
Before Seraphina could ask another question, the garden began to fade.
The Heartflower gave her a small silver seed.
"When the time comes, plant this where your heart tells you."
Then the princess found herself standing outside the stone wall once more.
She held the seed tightly in her palm.
Her adventure had begun.
