After the Storm, I Will Shine
poem

After the Storm, I Will Shine

When the clouds come together with me,When the clouds are gathered together with me,

But night blankets the land,

If all the roads appear to be broken,

And my strength begins to die,

I will hold on to the promise

That the morning will come and go;

But for no storm will endure for ever,

My hope remains alive,

Raining down upon thee when it rains;

Then the thunder vibrates my soul,

In the hour of life's storms.As wind is around my willows.

Making strenuous effort to make the goal,

I'll stand on my faith,

Although it may take a long time,

The night may last for a long time,

But the morning makes me strong,

I have trodden silent valleys,

I've borne the burden of unspoken grief,

I have cried under the gloom,

I waited for the rain while I was waiting.

But every tear was a learning experience,

All wounds left a scar,

Who knows what wars broke me in half?Who knows what wars broke me half?

Showed me that I was indeed me.

Thus let the storm rage on,

Allow the clouds to fill up;

I will not bow down to them,

I shall not fear.

For after the darkest night,

There is always light to see.

At the end of the storm,

And the skies are clear and bright,

I shall arise from every conflict,

I, after the storm, shall be a beautiful sun.
