If a woman who is silent speaks, her voice will be heard.
Unspoken words can become quite clear.
There is a thousand thought in a still face.
Emotionally channeled into the subconscious, they are looking for their home.
Mute or unsay words with a touch of silence,
It can show the secrets of words that hide.
It is loaded with the tears in the eye,
And tells unidentified stories without questioning why.
Sometimes silence is the message "I am tired of explaining.
At other times, it is, “My heart is still waiting.”
Sometimes it's pain that will not show.
A wound that goes deep, no one knows.
There are times when silence is prayer,
Hush, in the silence of the air, a talk between soul and air.
It tells of a night-time battle all alone,
Of dreams gone dim, unmoving, but still seeking the light.
Silence can say, “I miss you,” without a sound,
Or, “I forgive you,” when peace has been reached.
Can establish a distance or mend a broken heart,
As the two souls choose to begin their journey.
Listen broad listeners, when silence afar,
Sometimes, it shows what words say not.
There are many moments we witness,
Sits a story patiently to be released.
If no one is talking, listen,
For the quietest hearts may have the most to say.
