If Consistency Were a Poem

Consistency would be like a poem. it would not shout above the crowd,

neither should you wear bright colors. just to make itself seen.

It would be the quiet rhythm

 beneath every faithful line,

the gentle beat that keeps on going

when the world has lost its rhyme.

 It would speak of mornings

 when the heart feels tired,

when one loses motivation and every dream seems uninspired.

Still, it would rise with patience,

again pick up the pen, and write another straightforward verse. like it had written before.

 Consistency would not promise

that it would be the same every day. Some days would carry sunshine,

 some would tremble under rain.

 But through the changing seasons,

 through failure, fear, and doubt,

 it would keep moving forward,

 never choosing to give out.

 It would teach that mountains

are not climbed in just one stride.

They are conquered step by step,

 with determination as a guide.

A seed does not become a forest

 after one night beneath the ground;

It develops over numerous moments. when no applause is heard around.

Consistency would be like a poem. its beauty would be in repetition:

the daily choice to try again,

 the discipline behind ambition.

It would turn small drops of effort

into deep-running rivers, and bring back little habits that were lost. into promises we keep.

It would remind us that greatness

is rarely born in one grand day.

It is built from tiny actions

that we choose along the way.

One effort, one page, one step, one more shot in case we fall— until the little things we practice

 become something strong and tall.

So if consistency were a poem,

It would be read daily by me, not because its words are perfect,

but because they show the way.

Because dreams may begin as whispers, and success may take its time,

but writing remains consistent. until the dream becomes a rhyme.

And when the final verse is written,

when the journey reaches its end,

we may discover that the secret

was just deciding to start— then beginning once tomorrow,

 and beginning once again.

 For consistency is not perfection;

it is returning to the page,

with steady hands and positive attitudes, and writing forward, age by age.
